KUALA LUMPUR, 17 August 2025: Founded by Kieya Arshia and supported by her team Navinesh and Tamil, Beats & Bru has launched as a cultural coffee club experience, aimed at celebrating the diversity of the South Asian community in Malaysia. The club combines music, creativity, and community in a single vibrant space, offering a mix of soulful coffee vibes, electrifying music, and a blend of modern and nostalgic cultural elements. The inaugural event, “Session 0,” was held on July 19, 2025, at Reuben’s in Kuala Lumpur.

The event was designed as a platform for local Indian talent to shine and a way to connect people through music, art, and good vibes. The lineup featured well-known DJs, including DJ Shera, Lali, Shaun Vinda, Besanth, Adrian G, Tiyniish, and Navinesh Kumar. The organizer emphasized that Beats & Bru is more than just a performance space; it’s about building a community where coffee culture meets the power of music and art.

With free entrance and an open invitation, the event celebrated modern South Asian identity by blending cultural roots with a contemporary urban lifestyle. The organizers hope to provide a space that is inclusive, energetic, and full of life for everyone.
