KUALA LUMPUR, 17 November 2025: Datuk P. Sri Ganes, a prominent figure in Malaysian civil society, has been conferred the prestigious Honorary Lieutenant Colonel (PA) rank by the Civil Defence Force (Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia, APM). This high honour recognises his extensive contributions to the community, his commitment to voluntary work, and his efforts in enhancing disaster preparedness and civic responsibility.
Datuk Sri Ganes is the President of Yayasan Mahir Malaysia, an organisation dedicated to various community and skills development initiatives. His leadership role has involved mobilising resources and teams to support national service efforts, particularly in areas related to welfare and public assistance.
