KUALA LUMPUR – Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has officially opened applications for fully furnished rental units at Residensi Belia Cheras (RBC), offering affordable urban housing for young working men starting at RM200 per month.
The municipal initiative provides 490 units aimed at supporting young adults and industrial trainees navigating the high cost of living in the capital. Under the scheme, standard units are priced at RM200 monthly, while dedicated units for persons with disabilities (OKU) are available at a reduced rate of RM130 per month.
To qualify, applicants must be single Malaysian men aged between 18 and 40 who are currently employed or undergoing industrial training within Kuala Lumpur. Candidates must earn a maximum monthly income of RM4,000 and must not own residential property within a 35-kilometre radius of the city centre.
Located 120 metres from the Cheras LRT Station, the residential complex features essential amenities including 24-hour security, lifts, sports facilities, a multipurpose hall, and a surau.
Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications online through the DBKL e-Perumahan portal https://eperumahan.dbkl.gov.my/. Submissions must include,
- A passport-sized photograph
- A copy of the applicant’s MyKad in JPEG format
- Recent salary slip
- An officially verified certificate of single status
- Upload together as a single compressed ZIP or RAR file
