Shining star in the Indian film business Srinidhi Shetty has had an interesting career path that began as a software engineer and ended with her being a popular actor after winning a beauty competition.
Srinidhi, who was reared in Mangalore, studied electrical engineering and worked as a software engineer before pursuing a career in modelling. As she became the second Indian woman to win the Miss Supranational 2016 title, her life took a dramatic change.
After winning pageants, Srinidhi starred opposite Yash in the popular Kannada film “KGF: Chapter 1” (2018) in her first acting role. She gained praise and recognition for her depiction of Reena Desai, and as a result, she was cast again in the sequel “KGF: Chapter 2” (2022), solidifying her place in the South Indian cinema industry.
“Switching from software to cinema was a leap of faith, but I believed in following my dreams,” Srinidhi says, looking back on her path. In Indian cinema, Srinidhi Shetty is establishing herself as a formidable force as her career progresses.
