JOHOR BAHRU – A special prayer event marked a big step for a local project in Mukim Plentong. Specifically, the religious service took place right at the building site of the new Hindu Final Rites Complex. A royal foundation, called Yayasan Sultanah Rogayah, set up this gathering. As a result, the event brought together many faith leaders and local people. The prayer aimed to bring good luck for the smooth building of this modern welfare hall.
Royal Vision Reaches New Milestone
This new building answers an old prayer for the Indian community in the state. For many years, local families lacked a good, modern space for final funeral rites. They also needed privacy for their traditional ceremonies. Therefore, the royal foundation stepped in to help. They started the big project on a special plot of land at Lot PTD 250801. Now, the team runs the work with clear updates so that the space fits old cultural customs.
Meanwhile, the building crew has finished the hard early work. For example, they tested the dirt and set the deep ground pillars. Additionally, workers have built the metal scaffolds. So, they can now start to build the main walls. The team works under a direct wish from the Sultan of Johor to help the public. Furthermore, the group stays out of local politics. Instead, independent chiefs watch over the work to keep quality high.
Regional Governments Applaud Johor Model
The clean look of the Hindu Final Rites Complex has won praise far outside the state. For instance, leaders from other states came to see the new layout. Recently, the Melaka state government sent a team to study the clean burners and office design. Because of this visit, other towns now want to copy the Johor style. They want to use it to build better centers for their own communities.
In the end, this project builds a strong bridge between the state and the people. The royal foundation gave millions of ringgit in direct cash to protect local cultural care. Leaders fully expect the site to open on time. Therefore, it will soon give a peaceful place for families in times of sadness. Finally, bosses said more updates will come out as workers start on the roof.
