Negeri Sembilan Education Director Meets SJKT Staff in New Outreach Program

SEREMBAN — The Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Sembilan (JPNNS) has launched the inaugural series of its “Ask the Director” programme to establish a direct communication link between state education leadership and ground-level school staff. The interactive session was led by Negeri Sembilan Education Director Puan Khalidah binti Haji Omar.

Direct Engagement with Tamil School Communities

The initial session brought together teachers and members of the Implementation Group (AKP) from four Tamil National-Type Primary Schools (SJKT) across the state:

  • SJKT Bandar Sri Sendayan
  • SJKT Ladang Cairo
  • SJKT Tun Sambanthan
  • SJKT Nilai Impian

The informal setting allowed school personnel to communicate directly with state leadership, discussing operational challenges and sharing feedback based on their daily experiences in classrooms and school administration.

Aligning Goals and Addressing Ground-Level Needs

During the session, Director Khalidah outlined the state’s broader educational objectives while receiving constructive suggestions from educators and administrative support staff.

JPNNS highlighted that direct engagements are vital for enabling leadership to better understand the practical needs of academic institutions. By listening to frontline personnel working directly with students, the department can identify operational gaps more effectively and formulate targeted solutions.

The department plans to continue the “Ask the Director” series across other schools in the state to build stronger relationships within the educational community and ensure student well-being remains the central focus.
