SJKT Ladang Kulai Besar Building Project Secures New Block

KULAI – Students and faculty at a long-standing local primary school are set to receive a major infrastructure upgrade. Specifically, the official handover of the Letter of Acceptance (SST) has cleared the way for the new SJKT Ladang Kulai Besar building project. Education Minister YB Fadhlina Sidek attended the special milestone ceremony alongside the school administration, parents, and students. The new construction marks a crucial chapter for the Tamil vernacular school, which has served the local community since 1951.

End of Long Wait for Modern Facilities

The millions in development funds will directly resolve long-standing space limitations at the institution. For instance, the project features a modern, three-storey building block to accommodate expanding student enrollment numbers. For years, families and teachers have waited patiently for additional space to ease daily school scheduling. Construction workers are already preparing the site, and project managers expect full completion by the second quarter of next year.

Furthermore, the layout of the upcoming block is meticulously designed to support comprehensive pupil development. The structure will house brand-new classrooms, dedicated utility rooms, and counseling offices. Additionally, specialized facilities for special education students and brand-new restrooms will be integrated into the block. Therefore, this design guarantees a comfortable and highly conducive learning environment to support academic growth.

Supporting Seven Decades of Quality Education

The infrastructure expansion honors the school’s historical role as a key educational anchor in the region. For over seven decades, SJKT Ladang Kulai Besar has successfully educated generations of local citizens. Ministry representatives stated that upgrading older vernacular schools is essential for maintaining balanced national education standards.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education remains committed to monitoring the construction timeline closely to ensure no unexpected delays. Providing equitable financial allocations to partially-aided schools helps elevate regional performance across Johor. Local community leaders have expressed deep gratitude to the federal government for listening to their infrastructure needs. Ultimately, this fresh investment ensures the school remains a thriving hub for development for years to come.
