UTTARAKHAND, 16 August: In a series of shocking and tragic events, a 28-year-old nurse from Uttarakhand has become the latest victim of a brutal crime, following the recent horrific death of a doctor in Kolkata.
The nurse, who worked at a private hospital in Uttarakhand, was reported missing on July 30. Her sudden disappearance prompted an extensive search by local authorities and concerned family members. Despite efforts to locate her, the search ended in tragedy when her decomposed body was discovered on August 8 in Uttar Pradesh, approximately 200 kilometers from her home.
Preliminary investigations into her death have revealed that she was sexually assaulted and murdered. The state of the body indicated that she had been dead for several days before being found.
